The Indian culture is just as rich as it’s food. Colour, fragrance and vibrancy are always present at Indian celebrations. I wanted to demonstrate the excitement of the middle eastern culture through my cook book while also designing towards a North American audience.

The layout revolves around a stunning, bold typography face that highlights each header. I chose the ‘Whomp’ typeface as it mimics both Bollywood Cinematic type and the modern graffiti that covers many Indian alleyways. The gorgeous patterns, raw photography, bright colours and stylish type remind the viewer, of passionate Indian cooking.
